Teach's Lair Annual Cobia Tournament has divisions for private boats, charter boats and surf and pier. 80% of cash goes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division. Largest fish overall also wins a custom cobia rod and reel! A cookout for tournament members is held at Teach's Lair Marina. More Information...

Teach's Lair Annual King Mackerel Tournament

Every year we sponsor a King Mackerel Tournament held in the fall. The angler with the largest King Mackerel wins. The purse varies from year to year. In 2002 an SKA world record King Mackerel was caught during our tournament. Because the fish was an SKA record, the angler was awarded an $85,000 purse, which included a boat, motor and trailer. SKA and USAngler sponsored those prizes jointly. Teach's Lair Marina awarded $7,500 separately.

• 2005 - Unfortunately we were not able to host the Teach's Lair Marina King Mackerel Shootout in 2005. We will, however, resume in 2006 as scheduled.
