Welcome to our tackle store, "The Roost".
If the name sounds familiar it's because it is. Steve and Dave Hissey used to own and run a very well known and loved tackle shop here in Hatteras. The "Pelican's Roost" is no more due to the effects of the hurricane Isabel. We established a professional relationship with them during the fall of 2004 when they agreed to manage our tackle section, which we appropriately named "The Roost Bait & Tackle".
Dave and Steve will alternately be in The Roost every day to speak with and help anglers with their fishing needs, just as they once did in their store. These boys have quite a following so we're excited for the season to start to see just how many people stop in to say hello. We installed their old phone number as well (252) 986-2213. Stop in and welcome the Hissey brothers to Teach's Lair Marina when you're here on your fishing vacation.
