- Cap City's Beach Tourney
Kicked off today. Good Luck to all Anglers.
Big Tahuna was the only Big Boat out today, and let me tell you they had a heck of a day in not the best conditions. They came in with a Citation Spanish Mack that weighed in @ 8 #'s 3 oz's. They also had a Baracuda Release Citation.. The Spanish Citation is the Hardest one I believe to get. Pretty Work Fella's.
Inshore/Nearshore
Puppy Drum and All Size Drum were caught by our Inshore Fleet. A few Specks and some Blues to round out the day.
Beach/Pier
Slow Going in the Capital City's 4X4 Tourney. Wind out of the North @ 25 knts, made for tough conditions to fish the North side, but Anglers that fished the South Side and the Hook Area caught Puppy Drum and Blues mainly.. There were a few Sea Mullets caught down on the southern Beach's as well.. Lots of Pompano were alson caught.. We scored a few fish @ The Roost, mainly Blues and Pups, but there was a 3.88 pound Flounder that we weighed in as well.. That could be a winning fish right there. Well thats all Folks.
